A few months ago there was a discussion on gas struts (for the rear door top section).
Someone mentioned a very helpful supplier (might have been in Balcatta?), but do you think I can remember where I stored the reference.
I actually want a custom made HD pair for lifting the bed in our brick after SWAMBO decided on a heavier mattress and I'm now in danger of getting a hernia each time I have to access underbed storage, or set up the HWS switch and tapwork.
Anyone recall the company?

What I found out also (duh!) is as long as the strut is not dead they can recharge a strut back to working pressure. Magic!
I had some small super high pressure struts out of an 80s car sport seats which were basically unobtainium out of USA or dealer at over $150 each. There were 8 of which 7 still worked albeit low pressure and $100 later I was back in business. Handy for any odd ones although LR boot struts are off the shelf replacements.
