    Puma Starter Dead

Seems like the starter has died on my MY13 Puma 90. Been following this excellent thread for some tips (Puma starter removal - 2.4) but just wanted to confirm the part number is LR025840 (aka. a Bosch 0001109391) if I need to get my hands on a new one?

Looks like a bugger of a job to get at it, any further tips appreciated.

    Cheers

LR025840 - correct, yes its a Bosch although you can get a Denso, I see no point they don't fail all that often.

You need to work from above and below, 2 hrs later and you will think, oh that wasnt so bad. Unbolt the 2 bolts from underneath.
As the 2 bolts are sideways into the block its actually a good simple design its just all the **** hoses around that side that make it a bit difficult.
    Regards
