    Thumbs up Lurching at takeoff

Hi all and thx for the add.

I have a 2012 Freelander 2 and it’s been great. Only issue I have is when sitting in traffic for a while and presumably things start warming up, the car lurches from standstill (noticeably). Just taking my foot off the brake as slowly as humanly possible will see the car lurch quickly forward…a similar feeling to being hit/pushed suddenly in the back. It will do this again and again while stopping, moving a few metres and stopping again. This doesn’t happen under normal circumstances where the car is running along, stopping at lights & moving off again during a typical drive. The car drives perfectly otherwise.
    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it time for an transmission fluid change.

I had the wife's car starting to do the same. I drained and refilled the transmission with Fuchs Titan 4400 atf and its been good for the last 5 years.
