D3 brakes

Hi all I've recently bought a d3 with a brake issue I've got to replace the rear rotors easy enough job what my prob is is the park brake was locked on and the park brake emergency release was pulled, is there anything I need to reset on the park brake. The car had the issue when I bought it but need to run it over for a inspection,

I followed this and got it all working again.

In theory you can force it to reset using the diagnostic tool but if that fails this manual method saves you buying a new unit. I found it much easier than the video implies but you need the correct assortment of tools.
