Low battery start engine while battery @ 12.9v

    Hi all,
I seem to be having an electrical issue with my D4.
I keep getting the Low battery start engine message on the dash when parked.
It will also continue to beep the message every couple of minutes.
Put the new battery on charge overnight and still get the message.
Checked for error codes but nothing there.
    Voltage is at 12.9v stable.

Also disconnected the Redarc BCDC just in case this was affecting the battery

    Woops wrong thread....edited.

I have a similar issue. Purchased yesterday, brand new battery a few days ago.
What i found was battery voltage showing 12.4v after unlocking car. Then about 5 mins later it increased to 12.62v. How much current exactly should it be drawing after unlocking the car to cause that kind of voltage drop?

A ****load. When you unlock the car it boots all the computers up. Can be upwards of 20A while they all fire up. Discos are battery powered.

Rich - did you reset the BMS when the new battery was fitted?

On the D4 or my secondary battery?
Is that something you can do on the IIDTool?

Yes, you will find a BMS reset option available with the GAP tool.
