    Apart from the exhaust, that looked like it was all factory parts too.

    Seems like you need a newish D4 to get the canbus to talk and an even newer one if you want the eight speed box, still a great conversion though.

    Always thought this would be an awesome conversion. D4 would be the perfect platform. Engine was wasted in the RR Sport imo. TDv8 D4 would be a keeper.

    D3 works and early D4, later D4 is the issue with canbus.

    I haven’t contacted them to discuss it but have looked at the web site and according to that it has been done and they advise it as an option

    I would definitely be interested for 'round two' if it ever came up. One snapped crank is enough per lifetime I think. Looking at the all the other options for a big 4wd leave me cold..........
    Just arrived: 2012 D4 3.0 HSE, the journey begins again ;-).
