    101 Windscreen Pane

My 101 is parked up under my balcony well out of the way of possible damage. Yet when looking at it today, I have got crack in passenger side windcreen. Not sure how - winter is past so no more freezing nights, nothing can fall from above and no stones etc can fly in from lawnmowers etc.

So I will need to get a new one - places like O'Briens etc will not carry anything and do not make windscreens - it is just a flat piece of laminated glass.

When I got my 101 it was missing a side window but I was able to get a tempered glass panel made at my local glazier but he has since closed.

Does anyone know of any company in Sydney/Wollongong/Canberra who can make a auto spec flat panel to match the one broken - they would have to etch on the required specs etc.

    Thanks

    Are you sure they can't?
My local O'Brians have the correct glass and can cut it, but aren't licensed to mark it, he gave me a place here in Wang that he thinks can do it, and said the is a place in Shepperton that can do it.

If it can be done in Wang I'm sure it can be done in Canberra.

The glass place I used in western Sydney gave me little stickers to put on the windows plus a written letter that the glass complied with the relevant ADR's.
The caravan windows I fitted to the Oka also have little stickers on them with compliance info, nobody, even the engineer passing the camper conversion has ever looked at them.

Have you tried Wagga wagga for your glass, some of the suppliers there might be more used to agricultural type flat safety glass.
