How many forum posters does it take to change a light bulb?

Landrover UK has some amusing observations to make in this post.

I guess I am guilty of fitting into a few of the groups described here.

    1973 Series III LWB 1983 - 2006
    1998 300 Tdi Defender Trayback 2006 - often fitted with a Trayon slide-on camper.

    Low wattage?

Huh? That must mean I need a bigger Alternator, because my new shiny head "lamps" are giving the standard one a hard time.

G-day all. Can't chat long, the rain is easing, so it's time to hook up to the tractor. With luck, I'll bog it in the bottom section, and have to wait a few days.
Suppose I'd better stay out of the bottom paddock for a day or two, contour the hillsides. Try and keep some water back to soak in.
It started raining here at about 11.00 Wednesday night, and hasn't stopped yet.
Strange, the Landy is parked in bloody big shed, still got wet floor yesterday morning. Been in the shed all night. Very odd. Yeah, she leaks good , couldn't get wetter with no bloody roof. Bah, tis only water.

    Shorty.
