    Top That

    Try this one,

I was working a booze bus one night about 8 years ago (yep, I'm a copper, don't hold it against me). It was about 2 am and we were packing up to go home and I walked around to the back of the booze bus and found a vehicle with a fella sitting in it, engine running, staring straight ahead, vehicle stopped (unknown how long he had been there). I yelled out to the other coppers if they knew why he was there, everyone just scratched their heads and said 'no idea'.

I had a quick chat to him and quickly realised he was as full as a state school. Cut a long story short, he had stopped there voluntarily, he was that ****ed he couldn't compute in his head that he could've driven around us. I can't remember what his reading was but I do recall he nearly blew the device up........

    Obviously a very honest citizen...........

I've also been present when a drunk smashed into the rear of a booze bus...that's another story..

refuse to comment for fear of self incrimination..........lol i have been cought once though and its more the cost of getting your licence back than the inconveinance of losing it that keeps me from doing it again!!! (that and im a bit wiser now)

I got pulled over once in my street. I'd just pulled out of the driveway and was also still in first gear. They breath tested me and gave the car a general look over.

The Police car had 5 coppers in it so I'd say they were doing training.

    Passengers thought it was amusing

EDIT - mate of my uncle is a truck driver (must have 0.00 whild driving). He went to a party once until late, then got up, drove to work (car) - drove the truck all day, then drove home. He was picked up driving home and blew 0.04 or thereabouts!!!

How about one of the new pommy recruits "feeling" the sides of the Disco for rust....

Or better still some years ago in the NT Astonisher there was an RBT set up at the top of the hill by the sailing club. Same guy took his cadillac through the RBT 3 times before asking the now very red face police officer if he would like to try testing the driver this time!
