wiper motor / washer no workie

    '95 fender.

Just noticed yesterday, wipers not working at any setting int/slow/fast and washer not worker.

    Fuse okay
    12V feed to fuse okay
Switches work with plug disconnected (can get continuity activating switches)

Dont think it will be reset switches on motors as washer also not working.
Just about to pull fascia to have a look

    Any ideas?

    the plot thickens

    so after having a play...

    Switch operates as it should.
Fused, ign 12V supply to switch is green wire. This wire is dead.

This is circuit 12 or fuse number 3, it is shared with the fuel gauge/ water gauge and rear brake lamps. Lamps and gauges are working as normal.

So my thinking is there has to be a break in the green feed wire between the fuse box and the wiper/washer switch, somewhere after the circuit splits to its other functions.

The dash off will have to be a job for tommorrow.
