What a bummer! That happens to us too sometimes. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate what he's got and look after it.
cheers

I've had my eye on a Bushfire Brigade Series IIa Landrover that's been languishing in a paddock for about 4 years, but have never been able to track down the owner. I did leave my name and number on it a while back but have never heard anything from the owner
So imagine how surprised I was one day a couple of weeks back, when it had been pulled out of it's resting place. Great I thought he must be thinking of selling, next day I called by and a guy had the bonnet up.
"Too late" he said, I've just bought it. In the next minute he fired it up and it was running
Apart from the doortops being rusty, some wiring eaten by rats and some door rubbers perished, it's a rustfree 14,000 mile timewarp complete with all fire equipment in tack.
You can guess how I felt............
