    county v8 5sp gearbox options

    looking at fitting a 5 sp gearbox to my county it currently has a lt95 but the whine is getting to me i have a lt230 and a lt77 out of a 93 200 tdi defender would this fit .if so what bellhousing would i need .i would rather fit a r380 but the 77 is in good nic and i wont be doing any hard core wheeling any time soon

    Personally I would replace the bearings in the LT95 and stick with it! ....Brian

    that gets my vote.

    your quickest fit up will be the lt85, get the heavy duty one if you can.
