    Drain Fuel Tank

    Afternoon,

Having a bit of a problem with my 07 Puma... whats new? This time I'm getting some occasional odd noises and an engine warning light. When I can I'm going to take in into LR to extinguish the light if nothing else, however I'm pretty certain its water in the fuel.

I've drained off the filter and there is a bit in there, this is the second time these symptoms have occurred. Got the feeling there is a bit of water in the fuel tank and i could do without a repeat performance.

I've had a quick look under the tank and I can't see a drain plug. Get the feeling thats because there isn't one. Anyone got any suggestions on swilling water out of a fuel tank (original plastic one)

    Cheers

    Ian

    G'day
The fuel tank is easy enough to remove (two nuts at rear, two bolts at front, hoses and filler), just watch out for those #@$% plastic hoses and wiring loom. Once tank is out, unscrew pickup/level sensor unit and bobs' your uncle.
