    Overlylong Radiator Hose on V6

    G'Day All,
After advice/suggestions. The top radiator hose in the V6 is vveeerrryy long, methinks too long, it appears the engine may have been originally designed for a north/south installation (Rover 75?) and when they plopped it in the Freelander they mounted it east/west and of cause that means the top radiator hose has to stretch wwwaaaayyy across to the other side of the vehicle.
I am a bit concerned about it flopping about particularly where it does a 90 degree turn behind the cooling fans and causing cracking/chafing and loss of coolant.
Any thoughts/suggestions/advice on this from you experienced guys/gals?

the rover 75 is a east west engine as well. I haven't seen any problems with radiator hoses on V6 freelanders main coolant loss is from thermostat and piping near it.
