Pete, a couple of questions if I may:

I read somewhere that the centre coolbox is not an option for the 3.0 HSE, is that ture?

Also, Is there a wait for the surround camera system. I also read that the manufacturer couldn't meet demand levels

    Thanks

    Hi Jamo,
The centre coolbox issue is an interesting one. We have already swapped a customers coolbox from old vehicle to new vehicle & it works. The plug is there & is quite easily accessable. It is very much like when the D3 was first released..there was a lot of things to work out & then put into print.
There is no listing as of yet for the cooler in the Microcat either. But things will change & the existing one will fit.
I would assume the delaer could fit the existing part no. into the new D4.

Yes, there is a wait for the Camera system and yes you are correct, the majority of the camera's that were ordered from the manufacturer was mind boggling as everyone wanted them, Especially dealers to show off the new product(That also included LR for Demo's Drive vehicles)& the manufacturer never thought it would be this popular & miscalculated on his production runs, Hence he did not make enough for Europe/USA let alone the rest of the world

    Cheers.

    Hi Ken,
IDS (Vehicles computer diagnostic & programming system) doesnt allow this function for our market. I have been playing to try & get this function to operate but have been told that it is not applicable to our market.
The Lazy Entry or windows go down function is part of our market & can be programmed into the vehicle as yours has.

    Cheers.

Thats funny that its not applicable for our market as the FL2 has windows go up function by default.

Wish my D3 had that option. It was great on a hot day to walk up to the car and have the windows down before getting in.

Hi Pete, are all windows one touch down and up on the D4?

It’s an absolute pain jumping from the RR into the D3 and having to hold the window buttons down to get all windows opened.

BTW, any idea of the cost of having a Coolbox added to a D4?

DJHampson, is this using the remote or window switch buttons?
Ken is enquiring about remote lock buttons for Lazy entry & Lazy exit..
Lazy entry can be programmable to the D3. (where you walk up to the vehicle & push & hold the open button then all windows open up.)

"All vehicles now have Trailer Stabilty Assist (TSA)"

    How does that work?

"All vehicles now have a 5" TFT screen as the dash display, which incorporates Trip computer, fuel consumption etc."

About time too. Wish my D2 had that.

yeah thats what I'm talking about too. Hold the Lock button on the FL fob and the windows go up (i think the sunroof closes if its fitted) and the opposite happens when you hold the Unlock button.

Can any age D3 be programmed to do this? I figured that because it didn't have one-touch up down on all of the windows it wasn't possible. I've got a 2006 SE btw.
