Disc brake rear to 86 County

Is it possible to fit a complete flange to flange disc brake rear axle / diff assembly from a later 110 into a 1986 110?
Is there an easier way to get a disc braked rear?

I think it's best to use the master cyl and booster from the later 110 as well.

I have fitted a complete diff (disc to disc) from a '94 Defender using the original booster and m/cylinder from the County. I actually bought the later model booster/master cylinder as well and they are still sitting in the shed. Did the conversion about 4 years ago, no problems and obviously much better with discs all round.

All you need is 110 front hubs, rear range rover discs and capilpers, and the mounting brackets off a defender. Aparrently you need to remove 3 mm of one side of the brackets? not sure which side. I bought a county wreck that had already had the conversion and maxi drive rear diff lock. One day I'll get around to putting it in along with the PTO Winch.
