How to get more performance from LPG V8?

I have a V83.5 Disco on LPG, I try to only use LPG and was wondering what I could do to gain performance on LPG. I'd like it to still run on petrol in an emergency.
What can be done, no matter how drastic?

    More performance?

My 1994 3.9 V8i performs just as well on LPG as on Petrol,
can hardly notice any difference with the 2.

LPG burns better with the timing further advanced than on petrol

    Yeah, more performance.
I want to know what else apart from timing is a compromise to run on the two fuel types. I'd read about shaving the head, and was curious to know more.

There is a module that you can add into the standard EFI system that advances the distributor when you change from one fuel to the other.

My 4.6 Motec EFI has dual mapping which switches between modes.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

What sort of gas system is it? Some gas systems introduce a massive restriction into the air intake piping.

Where do you purchase such a module? I'd heard newer LPG cars had a dizzy that moved to change the timing when switching from LPG-Fuel, and vica versa, didn't think you could buy one after market.

I'll have to check, what am I looking for?

Give Carl Hendrickson a call (Greenlight Car Care at Thornleigh), he fitted the LPG to my RRc and also fitted one of the modules to his own 89 classic.
