    7.50 R 16 LT style rubber or

235/85 R 16 in either passanger or LT construction.

take your pick theres hundred of them out there to choose from.

as a start point my jack of all trade rubber choices are the BFG AT for a civilised rubber and the olympic Steeltrek for a heavier duty tyre.

in a nutshell pick a tread pattern that does what you need it to do in the price range you can afford and fit that.

There are quite a few come and go on ebay

You have lots of options. Anything off Classic Rangie (1995 and earlier)
Discovery 1 or Defender will fit. Alloy or steel?

Discovery Steel wheels are a good compromise.

    For example:

land rover landrover discovery steel rims wheels - eBay Other Wheels, Tyres, Wheels, Tyres, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 26-Jan-10 21:45:00 AEDST)

Forget later Range rovers (after 95) and Disco 2 or later.

    RangeFender

Hi, this seems as gooder post as i'm going to find to ask this question -

Will these alloy R/R fit my 93 Defender? I've got the HD drive flanges on the rear end, they have the massive 2" nut on them.
    Might be a problem??

Don't the wheels for Defender have different offsets to those for RR?
