Noddy home from the panel beaters

    Hello SLOW gang,
Noddy my 1958 S1 is back from Matty's paint and panel and is looking fine. Now begins the work of reassembly including the rivetting job of rivetting.

Does anyone have a recommendation for: Nut and bolt suppliers (Brisbane) and somewhere to get aluminium rivets and pop rivets (without the nasty steel shard that breaks off and goes rusty)

For the nut and bolt repalcement (for panels and fixtures) and I may be tempted to go with stainless steel as the ones in the 'job lot' from the UK went rusty v quickly. Has anyone else replaced new for old on a resto and how did you go about getting all the replacements? Is there a recommended tension for 'tight' using a torque wrench or is it best just to do them up tight and home for the best?

A quick Hello to the Ho Hars, Colonel and Scallops who provided the inspiration for Noddy's regeneration.
    Rowan,
