Had a Bit of Good Luck for a Change

For some reason the Universe decided to through a bit of good fortune my way instead of the ****storm that has been raining on my parade for quite some time and I got a little score.

Walked out of my latest(read 3 weeks) place of employment, and saw something interesting on the footpath next door.

Then I got excited whan I saw this

Grabbed a couple of blokes and started stuffing it in the Landy, then what do you know, some bloke wanders out to see me. Uh Oh.

"Thank-you very much." he says. "Do you need any more metal cabinets?"

    HELL YEAH

So I got 3 x metal paper drawers, 6 x Metal Cabinets and 3 x metal filing cabinets. Decided to finally organise my shed and get my tools out from under the house so maybe, just maybe I can build the kids bedrooms under there. I ended up offering 3 of the cabinets to inc who came and picked them up, as well as doing a trailer load to my place. Thanks Dave.

So put the cabinets in the shed last night

Then today I put the rest in, bar the 2 other filing cabinets which will have to wait until I have a bigger shed

I expect the univers to return to normal now.

You should have bought a lotto ticket! Wish I was lucky enough to have a find like that, have been looking for some of those metal cabinets for some time now.

Well done, perhaps a corner for slow's long and illustrious record keeping as well.

I often put stuff on the footpath instead of taking it to the dump. Maybe an hour, maybe a couple days...but it all goes generally.

WHAT, WHAT you mean you don't scribe every entry in a leather bound log, and use carbon paper for duplicating purposes.

What on earth has this place come too.
