And making mistakes is learning (hopefully), I bet Mr Knight remembers to undo the rocker tower bolts next time he takes a Series I engine apart.

    Cheers, Mick.

Did you guys actually let Scallops do anything? He appears to be a keen observer in all the photos.

hit it with the hammer... anything that breaks needed replacing anyway.

Factory Trained Mechanic - (shifting spanner not shown) what other tools does anyone need? Oh the photo was from an article called take revenge on your computer http://www.theepochtimes.com/news/8-3-19/67693.html. Nearly been close to that with my computer too.

I refer anyone reading this to my comment above...I really appreciate the help and knowledge sharing in this club, but really...

...heck - if it's not polls on how long all this will take (which I thought was funny), it's wise cracks about me having no clue (which I don't)... my glory moment of fixing my broken down vehicle - myself - is still very much in my mind....this then progresses to suggestions that I do nothing on such occasions...I'm OK with people thinking that, but it's not how I remember the day... I didn't smear grease and oil all over myself, my cloths and my hair to simply try to look like I contributed....

...yeah - I need assistance....but no one is doing this for me without my involvement.

Photos only tell a story about what is in frame, Phil...

PS - arrangements, to my understanding, regarding food on the day were the club provides meat, individuals coming provide their own salads etc.(inc. drinks) Late as lunch was, I provided all foodstuffs other than the meat....did I need to do more?

Take a chill pill Dan. It's only a little razzing

Same as scrutinizing Dave's spannering technique

    Or my sense of fashion.

If you weren't so popular, no one would care.

Ps. But you at least should have bought the beer

OK - appreciate the advice... ...and the help.... and that although I'm continually making a **** of myself, good people still forgive me....

I was intending to buy some beer after we'd finished...beer just wasn't on my radar at 11.00am... ...although they were rather tasty...If this is the way it works, I'll put a keg on next time.....
