Just be yourself, Dan. If spannering isn't in your original makeup, it takes a while to learn. You'll get there - and, on the off chance that you don't, it won't stop those good folks offering a hand. You have already shown that you are a part of a group who are happy to help you learn - whilst having fun at the same time.

What I would like to know.... you SLoW peeps are having a cracking time up there - and there are lots of pics - but many of us 'southerners' haven't a clue who is who

Guessing Dave wasn't too hard to pick - if there is hammer swinging going on he'll be at the centre of it I reckon - but the rest of you are anonymous...

Spannering technique? where...., or is it like the difference between a micr-o-meter and a knock-o-meter...

I'm the good looking one with the greys carefully camoflaged out by a short crop and engine oil.

Thanks for identifying all the characters.

    Scallops,

I am of the same opinion as xxxxx, be yourself. Everyone was not born with a spanner in their hand. I hope they are helping you because they want to and not because they think they are going to get a free feed and a beer. Working for a feed and a drink went out with slavery, they must want to help you.
