    Friday

Finally got around to doing up a proper Trip Report.

At the 10th Anniversary of AULRO and the Birth of SLOw, we identified that our new remote clubhouse was in need of some TLC, and a "Cunning Plan" was hatched in true Blackadder style. We would assemble over the coming months some material to repair the wrath of the ants and some able bodies and attempt to sure up the rear entrance without the whole lot falling on our heads.

Easter was the allotted timeslot, and as always, it is just nice to get away and spend some time around the campfire out in the bush. My son was only companion I could entice to join me, so we packed up the car on the Thursday night, and well before first light we were on our way North.

We had a great trip up and rolled in to Wattlemere top be the first one's there, baring Inc and Narelle of course. After selecting a suitable campsite, and erecting the accomodation, we decided it would be a good idea to bring down all the seats I cut out of a fallen tree last time I was up.

A little clearing was required to reach them again, but we had quite a load in no time flat.

Upon getting it all back to the main fireplace, we found we had a few visitors for the weekend.

Off again to cut some more wood for the whole weekend nocturnal activities, and run some power cable for the amenities.

The Ho Hars had arrived just before we set off and went about setting up Big Red and making themselves comfortable. It was then time to investigate the task at hand.

Then came the task of deconstruction.

This was soon followed by out and out demoloition.

Not a bad start for Day One, and in the mean time Johnno1969 and Wally had turned up, a roaring fire was started and it was time for the "World's Best" cup of tea and a nibble on Wally's nuts

A bit of dinner, some Beer and Stones Green Ginger Wine and some time good times around the campfire was enough to entice our visitors out for a look. Or was it the tea?

Of to bed at some time just to do it all again in the Morning.

    Saturday

Saturday Started with My son and I ducking off into town to get various bits for different camps and returning to help the rest who had got stuck in the clubhouse wall. Muy son was quite chuffed as I let him drive the big Isuzu in to the property.

    The days Progress.

Wally's Wife, Kids and a friend had come along to join in the fun and we gathered around the campfire again.

    Sunday

It was up and at 'em again come Sunday, and the kids were all chuffed the Easter Bunny had been. Jasper learnt the price of having all your meals cooked for you while camping.

    Back in to it again.

    The Cunning Plan

    The Result

The Ho Hars headed home and there were just a couple more odd jobs for the afternoon.

Then time for a drive and a walk.
