SLOw Picnic @ The Gantry - trip 17

Well what a fabulous day it was, brilliant blue sky and about 25deg

Read and weep you southeners

Fabulous company as well

which included...

Timj & Welly
Babashford & Maria
PhillH & Cait
Scallops & Kat
Killer, Rillis, Darcy & haddo2a
Incisor, Narelle & granddaughter (sorry didn't get her name)

We had the Gantry Picnic area nearly to ourselves, BBQ's fired up, picnic rugs laid out, chairs and tables bought out, what a brilliant day

After lunch we headed for a drive through the National Park to a beautiful lookout, taking Somerset and Wivenhoe dams and beyond.

Then headed home via the dirt, Peggs Road which brings you into the back of Daybro then home.

I didn't take my camera, though I am sure the official photographer of the trip

Yeah, great day had by all. It was good to catch up with everyone again. We should do it more often. Balls in your caught Ms SLOw Social Conveynor, whens the next one?

Lovely day, only ruined by my driver taking advice on my dodgy "shortcut"...got home late and cold.

Harden up Princess, if you want to tour around in a real vehicle without a roof, then you will have to be able to handle the cold spots.

Great senery on the "shortcut" anyway.

It's not everyday you nearly run into a pair of Deer, and have a plane take off a few feet above your head.
