Why anyone would pay 25000 bucks for a Royal Review then convert it to a ute is beyond me.

Andrew from Apex Replicas from whom I bought the model Review had access to some of Faulls Motors Import Ledgers and found this and sent it to me.
Third line down, a 54 Land Rover to the Royal Tour.
The Month is missing but as its after Nov 13 it is possibly Dec the 2nd as the next line is 1955.
Thoughts in this, Diana, Bob, anyone?

All the NSW Royal Tour cars were re-built and sold off as regular vehicles after the tour finished.

Keith, John Dean tells me the LRO mag with the article on the Royal is out in the UK now . I am going to the paper shop at Milton tomorrow to see if they have it yet, they get them sent air mail, if they have them I will get two And send you one . Most paper shops won't have it until April.
