sounds like the gear shift has jumped the selectors.
Puttering along tonight and when I tried to go again there was no first. I could get the lever into the right place, but nothing happened.
Couldn't find third, drove home in second.
After I pulled up at home I could find third, still couldn't get anything in first.
LT85.
What's wrong?
Cheers
Simon

So you have lost 1st, 2nd is OK, 3rd is intermittent - what about 4th and 5th???
Drained the oil to see what comes out yet?
Had a test, only first missing.
Had another test, third gear was where reverse usually is, reckon it might be the selector.
Ta, I'll get onto it.
