If you have any doubts about the motor don't change the oil
And definitely don't flush it
On really old dodgie motors they have a build up of sludge and carbon behind the rings and in other places witch keep everything tight
If you remove this it makes everything loose
Dont get me wrong its not a good thing to not change the oil but if its on its way out strictly due to age it just makes things worse
