    air bypass valve 3.9

    hi all , can i run the rangie with the air bypass valve unplugged? it idles around 600 rpm then when i turn of the motor and then start it again it jumps to 1200-1500 so i unplugged it wound out the valve put it back in and back to 600is it alright to drive it . thanks tony

    It should be fine, after all it is for idle control.

    thanks mate , heading out tomorrow to try out the new silverstones and rear diff lock and wanted to make sure it would be ok.tony

    Sounds like it needs a clean and an adjustment. See my post here
