Thread: Vibration/ Shudder from 4th gear onwards

Hi all,

After coming ome from a 700k trip (problem free) i have noticed a vibration/shudder when accelerating under load in 4th gear and onwards. Noticing a sloppy uni joint on the front drive shaft, i have had both the uni joints replaced but to no avail . I have had all of the wheels balanced but to no avail. I was wondering if i should check the wheel bearings ... am i on the right track ??

I replaced mine a few months ago and the tail shaft slipped apart, when I reassembled the front tail shaft I was a couple of teeth out, resulting in a weird vibration, have a look at a tail shaft in another rover to see what I mean.
