The vacuum advance on my Disco 1 has died. I have had a look around on the net and it seems that a new unit will cost approx $130.00. I have also seen on Ebay a new complete distributor for $200.00. Does anyone know about these? I suspect they are cheap aftermarket ones.
What do you think should I stick with my genuine rover dizzy or flick it for a new one?
Mate you can get recoed ones with better diaphram rubber from Performance ignitions in Nunawading in Vic. They do mail order if interstate. About $60.
I'll last longer than the genuine ones as it's not effected by heat like the Gen ones.
Another vote for Performance Ignitions.
Thanks for your replys. I have bitten the bullet and ordered a new dizzy from ebay.. (more for convenience than anything else) I will let you know how it goes.
