What does this pickup actually do, can I use this for the break controller or is this the wire that activates the trailer breaks?

I'm looking for a spot to pickup the break activation for the controller, I know you can user the break light but though I'd as what this is!

Not exactly sure what you are asking, but that socket is the end of the loom where you would plug in the final piece with the relevant socket for your country. (if that makes sense)

It has the indicators, side, tail, reverse, fog lights etc etc.

I can't remember which wire does what despite messing about with mine this week.
