    Fuel injector fit Discovery 1

How tight are the fuel injectors supposed to be once the fuel rail & clips are refitted???? Should they still be able to move (spin) a bit or do I need to belt the fuel rail down tighter??????

They should be able to spin a bit. They just push into the manifold with an O ring. The fuel rail holds them in place at the top.

You are of course supposed to use new O rings each time. But most don't.

New O rings fitted, no point with a VRS kit if you don't use all the bits. they are not sloppy loose just able to move them. Had the word from a certain Aulroian that all is fine!!

Before you run the motor ...

Make sure you check that they don't leak, by turning on the ignition (Fuel pump pressure up) and shining a torch at all the injectors ... Also check when the car is running

If they have a leak ... You can stop it by just twisting the injector L & R
