    Wiring for driving lights

I'm installing a set of driving lights as we speak with a H1 HID kit.

I've got a Traxide headlight kit in my Disco and its plugged into the original Drivers side headlight plug.

Can I plug the HID high beam 'trigger' plug into the passenger side original headlight plug? (which is otherwise not used when one of Tim's kits is fitted)

And if I wanted to be put an on/off switch in (which I shall) then it's just a matter of fitting it into that high beam trigger wire on the HID kit?

    Hi B92,

No, because the HID kit has a H1 plug and your Disco has a H4 plug. You need to wire it to the S terminal (purple wire) on the Traxide relay.
