Great question
Why didn't I ask it last week? It cost me $500 to have mine replaced and I didn't even think about the repair option when I got the bad news.

Some times they can be repaired with new O-rings inside but most of they time there buggered. I normally get 1 or 2 out of 10 fixed this way, sometimes it looks like it worked but then leaks a few weeks later. Only 100% fix is replacement.
Pete.

yeah , I've been searching and searching for an answer but it appears that the new kit is also an improved kit for d2a, so I'll just accept the umpires decision and put a new one in.

depends from where it is leaking. If it coming from the hose connections then yes it has to be replaced, but if it only leaking from the block then you can just replace the gasket and o ring.
we have done it before.
