The army apparently buys them at a flat rate of $200 each, then x-rays the case, and re-builds the internals to suit their needs. (spoke to a fellow in Darwin, that would flog them off for quick cash)

I have seen them at the wreckers for $200 - $400, but was a while ago.

Do you have one with a problem as they are easy to fix or do you require one as spares or to fit up as they are fairly common but depending on whats been done with them the price dose vairy a lot and some people try to sell them saying they have been modded like lower low range which is BS be carefull on what you buy

    Thanks All

I have 2 for sale - one is from a RRC (maybe - not sure of history) and one from a Stage One (have service history of this vehicle)

    Both with 3.5's attached

yeah , you cant give them away sometimes , it all depends on whats been done !
Things like modified pump , modified return ring , 82 t0 84 short shift selectors and mainshaft , late model synchros , Hd roll pins , and thats just in the main box .
Then theres the output shaft seal mods , the intermediate thrusts mod , the .996 high range , the modified Cdiff , with PB inserts , the special cross=shafts , see what that would add to to make it a truely bullet proof box / tcase .
