Thread: Strange Clutch Fault

This morning coming to work we had a large miss/loss of power then back again very quickly similar to an engine miss but on a bigger scale, then about 30ks later, no clutch, won't go into gear, get out of car check fluid, all OK, check under car no leaks, get back into car, check clutch again, it's back, finish drive to work

I have noticed on some occasions when getting in the car in the morning, the clutch works straight off the floor, then after a while it's back to normal and working at about 1/4 to halfway off the floor, the car is parked in a steep driveway facing downhill, when parked on a flat it has never done this. (lowrange to get out)

Well all sorted thanks to Roving Mechanical, air in the slave cylinder, the miss, loose positive battery terminal.
