    pump running

    D2 v8 manual ace, I have what sounds like a pump or something like that making a strong running noise, at there at idle, comes in at about 10kph and goes out at the same speed, would that be the ace system?

    Can't help you there but this reply will lift the post number so maybe an expert will see it. Can you get someone to drive it slowly past you so you can hear which pump it is?

    funny you say that ive thought of sitting on the bullbar with the bonnet up and having a mate drive it slowly, actually thought of how funny it would look.

    Ok ive just had a bit of time to climb under the car and have a look at the ace lines, i do have a couple of small leaks from the high pressure hose going from the pump and under the fan, rest of the way to the valve block is good. Would this leak be causing the pump to get so loud



    i hope this can fix it, its been very quiet and only just started to crowl over the last couple of weeks.
