Disco 1 ZF auto transmission lines??
Hi again all!!
Im just trying to locate a new set of tranny oil lines for my Disco 1, I know they can be "repaired" using new fittings brazed on but am wondering if its worth just replacing them with new items if available..... the main leaking one is the short line going from the radiator to the oil cooler(which leaks oil all over my front spring and shock),but the other 2 lines running back to the auto have also got slight leaks.... anyone got any recommendations as to where to buy new or cheap repair methods??? thanks heaps in advance!!! Ramon. (discologist)

since no one else has replied, heres my 10 cents worth. drive it into a hose shop for a quote. Ask for a you pulling it apart and then a them doing it price. You may be pleasently suprised or selling your self on a street corner to pay for it.
Once you get the price you can work out which is the best option. Which ever way you go, good luck

for about $150 you can get your self a set of lines off ebay. Just dont do them up to tight when refitting or else you will be replacing the timing cover as well. Dont ask how I know

I got some recently from Island 4x4 in the UK. Quite cheap for the kit of 3 pipes with all O rings etc that come in a medium size box. They're advertised on their website. Delivered in two weeks.

Most good hose places will be able to make up some nice braided steel lines for the job!!!
