Thread: help for a new owner

Hi guys, Just bought a 94 Disco 3.9 V8. All seems to be running fine, smooth accel etc...


BUT...

When I started her up at the petrol station, the SRS and Anti Lock lights stayed on. The previous owner says it has occasionally done this since the new battery was fitted. Any ideas?


Also, the heater doesn't appear to work, any ways to fix it?

Used to have the problem with the SRS/ABS lights in my D2 V8. Switch off and start again, would sort it out. Seemed to be an intermittent problem, and never really hassled me.

As for the heater, no idea. Have you tried asking the question in the Discovery forum?
