Injector question for early 3.5's 86-88

Looks like I need a set of injectors for my 88 RRC . From first observation they look very similiar to Holden VK-VL Nissan motor jobs . Does anybody know what onjectors will fit and work ? The injectors are obviously the originals some 22 years old , amd all the seals, insulators, and crimped on hoses are all stuffed .

I found someone wrecking a 3500 SD1 who sold me a good s/h set. I believe they also appear in Jags of the era.

If you got a flapper type afm, injector will be Lucas hose top injectors. These are a low pressure injector which you will need to find another set of. Can't use ones you stated as they won't spray properly for one and won't fit.
Try fleabay, shouldn't be too hard to find.

    Cheers

Not sure wgat you mean by Low pressure . Did you mean Low Impedence ?
Im running a Holden VT pump in the tank , its running at 40 PSI , perhaps a little high , but thr regulator drags in back to 30 PSI on high Vac.
Looks like a Bosch K jetronic setup to me , perhaps the Falcon XF vintage .

Nope, low pressure just can't remember what the set system pressure is for these, think it's just under 30 or there abouts. These are an early type Lucas system and the low pressure s defined by the barb and hose connection to the fuel rail.
Other systems use a press in o ring socket type connector and run at a minimum of about 36psi. Put it onto the system, providing you can connect hose ends to the press in injectors, fuel will not atomise enough not to mention fuel rates will be wrong due to running under pressure.
You may be able to update to the 3.9 manifold and fuel rail and then change injectors, but other than that, what came out, goes back in.

    Cheers

Well LOVEMYRANGINE , the injectors are BOSCH as usual , seeing lucas didnt make injectors !! The RR Injector is a Bosch 0280-150 -105 , Lots of Euros of that vintage use them Alfa,Opel.Porsche.Golf ,The 0280-150-105 in the early Range rover EFI's is 191cc/min at 2,4 ohms . The VL Commodore witrh the RB30 engine uses Bosch 280-150-115 injectors . Same hose tops , everything the same but it 200CC/min , virtually no difference !!

Well there you go then. I never got into the early stuff as it's not really flexible.
Give it a go and see what happens.

Straight 6 EFI VK commodore is 0208 150 203 and other than the resistor packs , cold injector ETC on the RR is very similar Bosch system .

Someone else asked a similar question a while back , at the time the suggestion was many cars run similar Bosch based EFI . If you search " injector swap " i think it was it may have something .

Why a person would comment/advise and not know is beyond me but it`s very popular .

    Cheers
