ABS Sensor Replacement
Have the following couple of quick basic questions about replacing the RHR ABS Sensor after reading RAVE. Awaiting delivery of the OEM part from the UK;
1. Do I need to use anti-seize and if so does it have to be anything special? I don't have any so happy to buy whats required.
2. Lube o-ring? With what, engine oil?
3. Nothing is mentioned in the Repairs section about the air-gap and tapping till touching the sensor ring? Is this an issue/concern? If so then perhaps I'll just supply the part and get my mechanic to do it.
4. Trouble getting the caliper bolts undone. Special tool? Others have advised just a multi point socket rather than just a normal hex socket. Have tried gently with my Bahco set but started to round the head a little.
Have searched many previous threads but could get clear answers.
Thanks,
Peter
