Unhappy TD5 Hazard lights after Oil Filter Change

    Hi Guys.

I have searched a bit here so forgive me for creating a new thread.

Today I changed my oil filter (with a great degree of difficulty). After doing that my TD5 will not start as hazard lights etc all come on and I need to disconnect the negative battery lead to stop it.

I see a sensor behind the oil filter. What is that? Apart from removing the heat shield over the turbo, how do I get to it? Does anyone have any info that could help me get the beast up and running again?

You have bumped the inertia switch on the firewall.

Push the top of the black switch down and all will be well again

Ummmm .. Blonde moment is over

Thanks again Tombie2! I worked out where it was and hey presto! All is well again. you are a champion mate. FFS this Disco is giving me a headache. All going well and with your input, I can work on her and nurse her to where I need her to be and that's off-road and running well. I never thought it would be this complicated.
