I have just sold a Patrol without wheel shimmy. The brother in law had one without wheel shimmy, and so on. Step through the usual suspects, starting with the rims and tyres. I stand by my original comment, you don't have to put up with it.

Selling it is the best and easiest way to avoid having to put up with it any longer :D
