Don't let your dad see this then he may not let you borrow it again

Think how nice it will be when your Landy is back

    I know how you feel.

I've got the FIL's Prado at the moment, while the engine in the rangie sorts itself out. Nothing wrong with the car, it goes forward backward and turns, but that's all it does.

It Doesn't leave you with a great feeling when you get out like the landy's do, and has no character.

Can't wait to get the rangie back.

Patrol is the same and that bloody steering shimmy drives me nuts, same as every pootrol dad has had from 88 til now. My tdi auto pulls better than its 4.5 on lpg .

My previous ride. Yes not in the same class as a D4, but still excellent value for money. No Patrol has to have have wheel shimmy. They are seemingly more sensitive to wheel alignment, wheel balance, wheel bearings, brake rotor runout and associated suspension bush wear, than other live axle 4WD's. But....they don't have to shimmy, or shake.

Your Dad needs to have his truck checked out..........and yes that's what they are...a truck.

Wash your mouth out with bush lemon juice, put your keys in your shoe and walk around the block saying 39 "Hail Landies" .... All will be forgiven my son.

Every patrol i have ever been in has this shimmy and its a problem known to all 4x4 people , even straight off the showroom they have it. Dads on his 3rd and all have had it.
