Hi All, My 96 Deefer has had a weeping steering box seal for about six years, I was warned years ago to fix it or expect trouble!, But ignored that and its never got any better, thats for sure , but its no worse either
, Just have to put a dribble in the reservor now and then.Bit like a few other things on the old girl
, I'm convinced Landys have a soul , all you have to do is learn how to hold you breath for a while
Cheers Sumo.

Yep, mines been weeping from the output shaft seal for years, and it's really only a smudge but over the last twelve months it looks like an O ring behind the worm adjuster nut of all places has let go, fluid is going everywhere now.
How on earth would that O ring go ? unless it's just got hard with age ??
One day I might drop the box and use the steering box seal kit I bought a few years back![]()
O ring has gone hard with age most likeley the prob you would think eh!
Wish i could do the same with age .LOL.
Cheers Sumo
Or eat more salt - apparently hardens the arteries
