Thread: Freelander Electrical Problem,neuteral when hi/lo beam selected

Hi all,

Name's Scott,

Im new to the site and have a bit of a problem with my 02 freelander, when im driving at night with lights on and dim the lights from high to low beam or use the horn with lights on the car drops into nautral for a short time the re-engages, pluc TC light and downhill decent light on dash come on but are yellow in colour, plus is blowing headlight bulbs, can any one tell me what the problem is or how to fix it.

I have had freelander's do similar things when the switch on the back of ignition barrel has been faulty but it has never caused headlight globes.
