    Dicky Disco II Brake Lights

    • I have noticed i have an itermittent brake light issue. When the igniton is OFF, my brake lights sometimes come on and off again. As i understand the brake lights should not work when the car is turned OFF. They also do it when the car is turned ON.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    By any chance to you have an electric brake controller?

    As a matter of fact i do. It was installed on the car when i bought it.

    I would hazard a guess and say your controller is playing silly buggers and activating even when the vehicle is parked and off.

    Start looking at the brake controller wiring first.

    Would it be a Teshonka Voyager brake controller?

    These were notorious for the brake lights to come on but this problem should have been fixed years ago.

    I imagine its an old install and the problem has just surfaced.

    If you need to change controllers get a Prodigy. You will have no problems with this one.
