Disco fuel tank swap from v8 to TDI

Is it an easy swap to put a long range tank from a 93 petrol Disco into a 98 Tdi Disco.
Are the mounts in the same place?
    How about the fuel lines?

    Thanks for your advice.

Should not be a problem, just re-use the in-tank assembly and feed pipes from the TDi after you have completely dried out the long range tank. A friend of mine did a very similar swap without problems and the mounts are all the same on all D1's and late RRC's.

Depending on the shape and size of the long range tank you may have trouble with the rear sway bar mounts, I was going to fit my 93 V8 Disco 135L fuel tank into my 94 TDi Disco, but would have had to remove the sway bar (which the '93 didn't have) and mounts, Regards Frank.
