Forgot to say that the block was already run in but the cam was new.
Ive finally got my 3.9 serpentine setup in my 110. Port matched exhaust and inlet. Compression around 9:1. Piper Torquemax cam. 500 Edelbrock carb and Edelbrock performer manifold. Ported to specs recommended by Hammill. Hedman headers then 2.5 inch from there on with Supercat sportyish exhaust.Used ARP head studs etc etc. Started for the first time (LPG to start with) within 3 seconds to my amazement. Using Penrite running in oil at 2000-2500rpm for 20 mins. Sounds awesome. Oil pressure was up quickly. Now I have the problem that I blanked off the oil cooler inlet and outlets near the pump with correct size blanking bolts but one has started leaking at about 100mL per min. I sprayed the bolts with Hylomar blue stuff before threading in but it has not sealed. Not a big fan of too much silicone but Im thinking Permatex grey would be better to place on threads? Its only temporary until I get an oil cooler sorted. Any other ideas?

Loctite 569 hydraulic thread sealant works really well. I know people won't like this, but I try to stay away from silicone and its multiy colour buddies.
Solved it. Went to Loadtek and was given 2 proper hydraulic plugs with O rings and a couple of Dowdy washers as a possible alternative. A heap of plumbers tape and all is fine.
If your not using the cooling adaptor, just take it off and screw the filter straight to the block, it's the same size thread and size.
Cheers
