Charcoal Canister Connection to a V8
It's funny - I did lots of searching here but couldn't quite find the exact answer.
On the charcoal canister in a V8 Rangie, the pipe marked C goes to a Y-piece, which then goes to the top of each carbie. The pipe marked T goes back to the rear of the car, to the surge tank and so on.
But where does the pipe marked P connect to? Someone has connected it to the pipe at the back of the engine block, but that's wrong because that pipe is supposed to connect to the air cleaner as part of the PCV system.
I'm pretty sure this pipe is supposed to go to atmosphere, but to where exactly?
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
